Breadcrumb version 2.7.3 was released to the App Store on December 14th, 2016. 

This release includes:

Breadcrumb version 2.7.2 wasv released in the App Store on Monday, October 24, 2016. 

Breadcrumb 2.7.2 includes improved support for our customers who have updated to iOS 10.0.1 and iOS 10.0.2.

Breadcrumb version 2.7.1 (October 4, 2016) 

Breadcrumb 2.7.1 includes support for Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) which will be in a pilot program through October 2016. Please contact your account manager or support@breadcrumb.com if you'd like to participate in the pilot. Read more about the Kitchen Display System. 

This version of Breadcrumb also includes an update to the tipping calculations in Signature on Screen mode. Tips are now calculated pre-tax instead of post tax. This makes the signature on screen calculation consistent with the printed signature slip.

Breadcrumb version 2.7 (August 8, 2016)

Breadcrumb 2.7 is a mandatory update. It includes an important update to the app that will support changing Breadcrumb's hosting environment from Groupon to Upserve. That change will occur on August 22, 2016. 

Restaurants that do not update to Breadcrumb 2.7 by August 22, will lose access to the app until they complete this important update.

Version 2.6.8 (June 29, 2016) includes an important update to the way payments are processed after you come back from offline mode, as well as an update to the way that Citizen printers auto-connect with Breadcrumb. 

These improvements will make Breadcrumb easier to set up and more reliable in offline mode.

Version 2.6.8 (April 26, 2016) 

2.6.8 includes improvements to Floorpan Management. You can now create and manage tables in the Breadcrumb app!

Version 2.6.6 (February 3, 2016)

Auto-gratuity is taxed differently in different places or situations. Now you can decide whether automatically applied gratuities are taxed, making it easier to comply with local regulations. As well, we have added controls for you to decide whether the percent will include comped items and values.

Version 2.6.5 (January 18, 2016)

Breadcrumb version 2.6.5 is ready for release in the app store! 

This release fixes an issue with splitting checks that was introduced in Breadcrumb version 2.6.4.

Version 2.6.4 (January 6, 2016)

Just in time for the new year, we’ve got a feature-packed release of Breadcrumb POS.

Printer set up is easier than every with Automatic Printer Discovery. Supported Citizen, Epson and Star Printers will automatically connect with Breadcrumb when they’re added to the network.

Managing house accounts and non-cash tenders in HQ is simple. You can now archive or delete unused tenders, and order tenders to put the most used ones at the top of the tender list. Updates in HQ appear in the app instantly.

Cafes, quick-serve restaurants and bars love the speed and ease of Signature on Screen. Now you can set specific iPads to be signature on screen and others to print signature slips.

Offline Mode updates make it even easier to continue working even when you aren’t connected to the internet. Offline Mode troubleshooting and reconciliation have gotten easier too!

Version 2.6.2 (November 19, 2015)

Breadcrumb Version 2.6.2 will be available for general release in the app store on Thursday, November 19, 2015. The release will go out at 2 a.m. so you should update each iPad at the start of the day on Thursday.

This release includes important updates to swiper functionality and speed and stability improvements and may require you to exit the Breadcrumb app and restart each iPad once you've added 2.6.2. To restart the app, press and hold the top left power button for about 3 to 4 seconds until the screen dims. You'll see a red slider at the top that says “slide to power off;” doing this will power down the iPad. After another few seconds, you'll see the screen go completely black. Once the screen has gone black hold the same button down for 3-4 seconds until you see the Apple logo appear.

This release also includes a tip adjustment reminder

Remember, if you update one iPad, you must update all of them.

Version 2.6.1 (September 29, 2015)

Breadcrumb Version 2.6.1 will be available for general release in the app store on September 29, 2015. The release will go out at 2 a.m. so you should update each iPad at the start of the day on Tuesday. Remember, if you update one iPad, you must update all of them.

Version 2.6.0 (September 15, 2015)

We will release Breadcrumb Version 2.6 in the app store on September 15, 2015. As best as we try to control the release of app updates, the final release is controlled by the App Store.

The release includes important updates to payments processing capabilities as well as updates to printer center.

Version 2.5.3 (June 4, 2015)

We will release Breadcrumb Version 2.5.3 in the app store on June 4, 2015. 

The release includes automatic offline mode for payments and an updated clock out chit. 

Additionally, this release includes support for multiple job roles, ordered modifiers within mod groups andordered forced modifier groups. These features are to be rolled out over the next two weeks after the release. If you want to request access as soon as possible, please reach out to our support team.  

 

Version 2.5.2 (May 4th, 2015)

We released Breadcrumb Version 2.5.2 in the app store on May 4, 2015.
